Plakha — «Pretense»

The new album from Plakha, "Pretense," is melodic black metal steeped in depressive atmosphere. Conceptually, it's built around the idea that a beast lurks beneath the human mask. Individual songs also touch on theological myth, codependency, painful love, and the urge to wall oneself off from the world. Released in a limited run on white cassettes with pad printing, the artwork complements the atmospheric, mysterious music and its rich lyrical content. "Pretense" marks a new stage for Plakha, opening plenty of room for the band's creative ideas to grow.
